About The Last Resort Recovery

The Last Resort Recovery (TLR) is a residential treatment center designed for men that helps foster a true experience of brotherhood and heal from addiction. The program addresses specific issues that men face. TLR offers 30-90 day residential programs, medical detox, and an intensive outpatient aftercare program. Their 12-Step immersion programs offer both evidence-based and holistic treatment methods like traditional talk therapy, equine therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), and relapse prevention. The Last Resort Recovery understands there is no cookie cutter version of rehab and takes everyone’s unique circumstances into account. Treatment plans are personalized and include group therapy, fitness programs, and therapy for co-occurring mental health conditions. After clients complete their stay at the center, they are encouraged to participate in continuing care such as transitional housing, support groups, or their intensive outpatient program in Austin, Texas.

The Last Resort ranch is on 51 acres and 20 horses on site. Expert staff are trained and experienced in equine-assisted therapy, and clients will be able to work with horses and develop a rich bond. The sprawling grounds offer plenty of space for quiet reflection or meditative walks. Inside, the ranch clients will enjoy the homey charm, large kitchen and dining areas, and a porch full of rocking chairs and antique furniture. Also on site, TLR has a gym and a swimming pool for clients to enjoy. The Last Resort Recovery offers a unique environment and is a great choice for men seeking rehab in a ranch-style setting.
