Tara Treatment Center provides a holistic approach to treating substance use disorder and promoting mental, physical, and spiritual health. They offer a full continuum of care including medical detox, residential care, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient care, transitional living for men, a family program, and aftercare services. Residential care consists of 24 hour programming at gender-specific locations.
Tara Treatment incorporates a holistic approach and includes a unique blend of therapy, education, and 12-Step support. This level of care is typically 30-42 days, depending on an individual’s specific needs and can include holistic therapies like art therapy, equine therapy, and yoga. For those needing more flexibility, the intensive outpatient program (IOP) is held Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with educational programs held in conjunction with IOP. The transitional residential program is reserved for individuals who have completed Tara’s Residential Program. This program (only available for males at this time) provides continued support for those who require further stabilization before returning home. Individuals begin to implement a higher level of self-accountability into their recovery as they attend meetings at the facility and participate in a combination of employment, community work, and social networking. In addition, Tara Treatment Center offers a free family program designed to help loved ones understand the disease of addiction and the basic concepts of recovery. The program also assists loved ones in identifying the struggles of the client, while allowing them to work on their own personal growth.
Tara Treatment Center is located in the peaceful countryside of Franklin, Indiana. The extensive grounds offer comfortable, home-like housing for men and women in separate homes. On site, clients can walk the extensive grounds or participate in horseback riding during equine therapy. Tara Treatment provides caring and supportive staff members while offering a variety of well-rounded programs.
