Steps In The Right Direction AURA House is a women’s only sober living home providing a welcoming and supportive environment with luxury, pet-friendly accommodations for women in recovery. Located in an upscale, private cul-de-sac, the 8 bedroom 6 bathroom home hosts up to 17 women.
AURA House offers luxury finishes with style and comfort in a structured and sober living environment designed to minimize distractions and promote healing and recovery. Their 2 living room spaces on separate floors offer plenty of cozy and open space for house meetings, movie nights, or individual meetings with sponsors. The house has 8 semi-private bedrooms with flat-screen T.V.’s and 6 well cared for bathrooms offering plenty of space and privacy. Their state of the art kitchen provides the space and amenities needed for residents to cook and prepare individual or communal meals. For entertainment, residents have access to a recreational space that includes a pool table and board games. Other amenities include an outdoor area with a spacious pool and gathering area for backyard barbecue and socializing with friends and family, on-site laundry, and access to high-speed internet in a location close to parking and public transportation with ample employment opportunities.
Steps In The Right Direction also accepts patients on medication-assisted treatment (MAT), offers regular drug and alcohol testing for accountability, live-in management on site, weekly group dinners and meetings, and on-going support as residents transition back into society and continue with their recovery. They support clients on their individual recovery journeys in all approaches, including 12-Step, SMART Recovery, Refuge Recovery, or those in mental health and co-occurring disorders programs.
