About Serenity Mountain Recovery

Serenity Mountain is a women’s treatment facility located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, offering partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for women recovering from substance use disorders. The center sits on 21 acres of mountainous terrain, with breathtaking views overlooking three states.

The facility boasts a range of amenities, including an Olympic-size pool, a chapel, a chef’s kitchen, pool and ping pong tables, workout equipment, and luxury beds in shared rooms with TVs and beautiful views. Electronics are approved after a blackout period based on the length of treatment.

Serenity Mountain uses evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT, trauma counseling and groups, and relapse prevention. They also provide faith-based treatment, meditation/mindfulness, and holistic therapies. Serenity Mountain encourages clients to join the Celebrate Recovery Program, which is based on the principles of the Bible and the 12-Steps of AA and NA. Serenity Mountain also offers church services, prayer groups, and individual pastoral and spiritual counseling to support clients in their recovery journey.
