Rio Vista also provides a program for veterans, active military members and first responders called the STAR program (Support, Treatment, Action, Recovery). The most important component of this program is group therapy which allows patients to engage in conversations around life skills, chemical dependency, trauma, attachment, irrational thoughts and proper sleep hygiene.
