Set in rural Ohio, Parkman Recovery is a treatment facility for substance use that provides medically qualified, individualized care. A family of businesses, including First Step Recovery, Parkman Recovery Center, and Travco Behavioral Health, came together to provide better services to the neighborhood. Together, they provide outpatient addiction therapies, mental health care, and comprehensive drug abuse treatment.
Their approach includes an introduction to therapeutic activities including 12-step meetings and group therapy. Other treatment options include psychoeducation to get a better knowledge of substance use, family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, and life skills instruction. Based on the 12 stages, 30-, 60-, and 90-day inpatient residential/extended care programs are available in addition to medically supervised detox.
