Moonlight Mountain Recovery is a quiet center for men and women who are struggling with alcohol and drug addictions as well as dual diagnosis. Moonlight Mountain Recovery has individual and group therapy sessions and experiential group activities. Moonlight Mountain Recovery specializes in dealing with clients suffering from opiate addiction and is designed to give intimate care. Treatment is based on the 12-Step principles but also uses evidence-based therapies. Throughout a client’s recovery, they can expect a well-rounded experience with experiential, holistic, and evidence-based therapies. Clients are encouraged to stay for 90 days; however, the minimum stay is 30 days. Moonlight Mountain Recovery caps their group therapy at 8 clients with a 3 to 1 client to staff ratio. Moonlight Mountain Recovery offers on-site AA meetings, equine therapy, yoga, and meditation. Clients can expect therapy treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), couples therapy, SMART recovery, biofeedback, 12-Step program, and motivational enhancement therapy (MET).
