Located a few miles from the Pacific Ocean in beautiful Southern California, Montecatini is a residential eating disorder treatment center. Montecatini offers 6 separate treatment programs: residential, Day Treatment (PHP), outpatient program, intensive outpatient program (IOP), wellness program, and transitional living. Montecatini’s holistic residential program focuses on treating mind, body, and spirit. For over 20 years they have been specializing in treating adolescents (starting age of 16) and adult females struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, and associated eating disorders. At Montecatini, their primary goal is to help patients return to their lives as both functional and joyful. Some of the more popular therapies used here include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Yoga, Nutritional Counseling, Family Therapy, and Expressive Arts. Montecatini also addresses mental health issues associated with eating disorders, for example mood, personality, and thinking disorders.
Montecatini’s residential program offers an individualized and customizable treatment plan. They combine therapy-based treatments with experiential-based treatments to expose clients to real-life problems while caring for and supporting them. Accommodations include a shared suite with a jacuzzi tub. Also there is a fireplace, and a full gym.
Montecatini’s outpatient treatment program is another option that clients can choose to participate in. For those who have completed the residential program, it is a great way to continue treatment while having the availability to be at home. The outpatient program is conveniently located 10 minutes away from the residential program. Montecatini accepts most PPO plans, so please call Montecatini to verify coverage.
