Fairhaven Treatment Center is a residential treatment and outpatient center in the Mid-South dedicated completely to treating adolescents, teens, and adult women with eating disorders and the underlying reasons, such as post traumatic stress (PTSD), trauma, and attachment disorder. Their outpatient program is geared toward adolescents specifically while the residential program is for adult women only.
Fairhaven’s mission is to assist clients in realizing they possess the power to establish healthy connections with others as well as with themselves. Women learn health relationships with food while also identifying and treating co-occurring conditions like OCD and trauma. A typical day includes a variety of evidence-based therapies, experiential therapy, animal therapy, art therapy, group therapy, and family counseling.
The residential facility is located just east of Memphis, Tennessee and offers comfortable home-like conditions with shared rooms and cozy indoor spaces.
