Medically supervised detox keeps clients safe as they begin their recovery. Discovery Point’s focus on wellness and holistic care help ensure every aspect of clients’ recovery needs meet their expectations, from detox to aftercare. Their professionals lead clients through trauma therapy, family therapy, group therapy, evidence-based therapies like dialectical therapy, and creative therapies. Combined, their collection of treatment avenues give every client a well-rounded treatment plan catered to their needs and preferences.

Proven Treatment Outcomes

Discovery Point offers clients a thorough aftercare program, beginning with learned relapse prevention skills. Alumni from Discovery Point help clients learn how to recognize triggers and relapse risks, mitigating them before they worsen. And, owing to their belief in their program, Discovery Point Retreat offers clients who relapse after their 60-day stay a free 60 days of additional treatment. Individualized And Evidence-Based

Every client’s treatment is unique to them, designed with input from Discovery Point Retreat’s professionals. Their evidence-based approach involves clients in therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and many others. With this approach, clients also enjoy holistic therapies and working through the 12-Steps of recovery.

Co-Occurring Disorder Treatment

Understanding that addiction often doesn’t occur on its own, Discovery Point Retreat treats co-occurring conditions like anxiety, depression, trauma, and eating disorders. Therapy for trauma and post traumatic stress disorder aims to heal ongoing pain, rewriting thought patterns for lasting healing–much like treatment for depression and other mental health conditions.

Specialized Programming

Treatment programs for specific populations bring relevance and community to each program. Discovery Point Retreat leads a young adult program for ages 18-30, men and women’s groups, a program for couples, athletes, and working professionals. Their variety of treatment tracks helps each client find a good fit, placing them among similar peers as they progress through treatment.

Aftercare And a Relapse Guarantee

Clients at Discovery Point Retreat leave with a relapse guarantee, should they stay for 60 consecutive days. If a relapse occurs after that time, Discovery Point welcomes clients back to complete another 60 days of treatment at no cost. Their aftercare program keeps clients connected to counselors and recovery support as they return to their homes, jobs, and families.
