Located in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains in a residential neighborhood, Clementine Malibu Lake is a residential treatment program exclusively for adolescents (12 to 17 years old) seeking treatment for eating disorders. Clementine Malibu Lake offers high levels of medical and psychiatric care for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Exercise Addiction. At Clementine Malibu Lake, the client has access to 24 hour on-site medical oversight and nursing care, along with psychiatric care. The family of the adolescent is encouraged to be involved, and they will have close communication with and direct access to the treatment team, as well as weekly family therapy sessions. Clementine Malibu Lake does daily group therapies, as well as weekly nutrition and cooking classes.
Their goal is to make treatment accessible to adolescents so each of their programs are in-network with different insurance providers. The center also coordinates single case agreements and financial considerations with out-of-network insurance providers if the patient is not in-network. Clementine Malibu Lake has a financial consideration page and is willing to verify insurance plans.
Clementine Malibu Lake’s beautiful residential home is a two-story, farmhouse style home with a warm, inviting front porch. Inside, clients will find an open-concept living room, kitchen with a large island, and amazing views of the mountains. This home offers shared rooms, a yoga studio, and outdoor seating.
