Clementine Hudson Valley is an adolescent eating disorder treatment program for all genders with a strong focus on personal development and family involvement. Clementine uses a unique level system that defines clear markers of progress while clients move through the program. This allows clients to take initiative and set goals for themselves with the support of the treatment team. Treatment is broken down into 4 phases. Clients engage in evidence-based treatment modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), as well as more experiential modalities like art, music, and expressive therapy. Clients can expect relapse prevention techniques related to eating disorders and exposure therapy. Another aspect of the program includes life skills development. Clients participate in daily chores, relaxation, and meditation all while learning self-esteem skills. Clementine is staffed with medical doctors, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, and yoga instructors.
A key component to recovery at Clementine is comfortable, tranquil living conditions. They provide elegant living accommodations that feel more like a retreat and less like a residential program. Clementine has numerous locations across the United States. Clementine Hudson Valley Manor is located in a quiet residential area in Salem, New York. The campus provides well-appointed accommodations with a calming design. Adolescents have the opportunity to engage in activities such as yoga, dance, movie nights, crafting, jewelry making, and pottery classes. Clementine provides open communication and trust for the client and their family members, leading to its high success rate.
