Caz Recovery’s Madonna House is a residential, community-style living recovery facility for adult women with pre-school and younger aged children who are struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Their location tucked away in the woods of Lockport can serve up to 16 women and their children in a safe place away from triggers. They offer intensive rehabilitation services for substance abuse and mental health, as well as reintegration services such as vocational counseling. They specialize in providing care for mothers who are chemically-dependent on drugs or alcohol and struggling or at-risk of homelessness.
Caz Recovery works individually with each client to determine their personal recovery goals and unique treatment needs. The length of each patient’s stay varies from a couple of weeks to a couple of months or longer depending on the specific client’s care plan. In addition to reintegration, clients will participate in individual and family therapy sessions and receive holistic and trauma-informed care. Services include daily life skills education, case management services, and relapse prevention planning, as the program promotes self-help and independence.
Madonna House is located on a rural, private, and tranquil wooded property and offers semi-private living spaces, wheelchair accessibility, on-site meals, a recreational area for women and children, and onsite childcare is available. Their program is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports to provide rehabilitation services, and is overseen by the Niagra County Department of Mental Health. Eligible patients will be females 18 years and older with young children who are in need of intensive substance abuse treatment, and must be enrolled in a Medicaid Managed Care plan.
