About CuraSouth

CuraSouth provides detox and short-term residential treatment in a comfortable, newly updated environment. Their on-site nurses, psychiatrist, and counselors work together to make detox as comfortable as possible. CuraSouth uses medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for drug and alcohol withdrawal. Depending on individual needs, they may also use tapering to ease clients through the detox process. Holistic therapies add extra comfort and healing. Optional therapies include individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Personalized Care

CuraSouth begins treatment with an addiction assessment and psychiatric evaluation. They strive to understand the past and present of each client to customize their treatment to their needs. A psychiatric evaluation helps CuraSouth treat any co-occurring mental health conditions, and underlying trauma or post-traumatic stress (PTSD). Their executive program allows tech access for clients who run their own business.

Comprehensive, Engaging Treatment

Clients have the option to attend weekly 1:1 therapy sessions and daily group sessions. CuraSouth also offers 12-Step meetings, family therapy, and psychoeducational workshops centered around recovery. Their holistic opportunities include yoga, meditation, acupuncture, physical therapy, massage, and mindfulness practices. CuraSouth offers a range of therapeutic treatments to offer each client a well-rounded care plan, suited to their needs.

Detox in a Serene Environment

CuraSouth provides intervention services, short-term residential treatment, and connections to further care, like a residential rehab. CuraSouth’s newly updated home offers a clean and comfortable home-style retreat for recovery, with an on-site kitchen, lounge areas, and the option of private rooms.

Safe And Effective Detox

CuraSouth uses clinical care and MAT to help make detox as safe and comfortable as possible. Their nurses and psychiatrists tailor each step to the unique needs of each client. Using MAT and tapering if needed, CuraSouth offers detox for opioids, alcohol, marijuana, benzodiazepines, prescription medications, heroin, and more.

Therapeutic Treatments

CuraSouth begins intensive therapeutic care during detox. As soon as they’re able, clients can attend therapy sessions with others in treatment, their families, or their individual therapists. CuraSouth uses psychiatric evaluations and clinical histories to create an effective treatment plan for each client.

Flexible Technology Policies

CuraSouth’s executive program allows tech use during business hours, helping professionals connect to work during treatment, if needed. While CuraSouth restricts tech use during detox, clients can integrate screen time into their residential treatment.

Services for Continuing Care

CuraSouth works with other treatment providers and can help facilitate next steps in treatment. After detoxing, they can refer clients to sober living homes, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), or residential treatment. CuraSouth strives to connect each client with the continuing care path that fits their needs, using their connections to help clients find the best fit for them.
