Treatment plans at Black Bear Recovery are highly individualized, catering to the unique needs of the individual. They use evidence-based modalities and a holistic approach to recovery. Some therapies that are used during a client’s stay are dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and 12-Step philosophy; however, they do not coerce patients into any methods or philosophies they do not want or like. Black Bear Lodge believes in treating the root cause of a substance abuse condition, which increases an individual’s chances for a full lifelong recovery. At Black Bear Lodge, they offer clinical programs such as motivational interviewing (MI), comprehensive behavioral health evaluations, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), family therapy, grief and loss therapy, and nutrition and wellness groups. They offer experiential therapies such as art therapy, yoga, and other holistic options. Black Bear Lodge offers a family weekend every month for clients. They have LGBTQ+ diversity groups, gender-specific groups, and professional groups. Black Bear Lodge is accredited by the Joint Commission. Depending on the program that is chosen, the average cost is $29,000 for 30 days.
