Located in sunny Southern California, Everlast Recovery offers sub-acute detox and residential treatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders. Treatment involves individual, group, and family therapy, and incorporates holistic activities like relaxation, mindfulness, yoga, art, music, and equine therapy. Patients meet individually with therapists and other specialists, and meet with a medical doctor at least once a week. Everlast’s program includes learning new coping skills as patients adapt to sobriety, and making a plan for living in recovery in the outside world. Residential treatment typically lasts 30 to 60 days, depending on the individual treatment plan. Each patient will complete the goals set for them in therapy and get medical approval prior to stepping down to outpatient treatment.
Family visitation is available and encouraged every Sunday afternoon. Treatment includes excursions like hiking and trips to the beach or museum. Amenities include outdoor gardens, a pool, and home-cooked meals.
