Private Residential Care

Every eating disorder treatment program at Avalon Hills has a tailored component, specific to the individual. While Eating Disorders have much in common, everyone is different. Through a combination of the most effective, time-tested conventional recovery techniques, psychotherapies, and cutting-edge neuroscience, Avalon assists their clients in developing new ways to thrive in life. Treatment involves numerous therapies including individual therapy, neurofeedback, body image therapy, yoga, martial arts, and recreational activities, all meant to address the underlying cause of the eating disorder. Registered dietitians create effective and creative nutrition plans while family therapy involves everyone in the recovery process, ensuring long-lasting support and results.

Just north of Ogden, Utah, Avalon Hills private campus offers residential housing surrounded by mountains. There are also a variety of activities and excursions available, such as kayaking, hiking, and fishing.
