SLO Recovery is a dual diagnosis treatment facility that focuses on treating mental health issues as well as substance use disorders. SLO Recovery strives to offer hope for the entire person through their distinctive, comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach. An evaluation of the client and their circumstances precedes the beginning of each level of care at the SLO Recovery Center. This evaluation enables placement into outpatient programming, PHP, day treatment, IOP, sober living, or detoxification. Both conventional therapy and evidence-based therapies are available to clients at SLO Recovery. Relapse prevention, role-playing, CBT, DBT, ACT, exposure therapy, and story therapy are a few of the therapies. Acupuncture, yoga, and mindfulness-based meditation are examples of holistic therapy. SLO Recovery also uses several education and skill enhancing techniques such as non-violent communication, brain and behavior, life skills, and healthy relationships. SLO recovery is an all-inclusive program that allows for the entire family to start, develop, and participate in a healing process. Family involvement is a cornerstone of the SLO program. They provide services such as family counseling, family intervention, and recovery mentorship.
SLO Recovery believes that healing starts with a healthy environment. They provide gender-specific housing for both men and women. The sober living homes are in up-scale neighborhoods of Portland, Oregon. They provide the structure needed to keep clients track and guide them on their way to recovery. SLO Recovery is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
