About Seven Hills Behavioral Health Hospital

Seven Hills Hospital is a 134 bed facility that offers a range of services (detoxification, intensive outpatient, outpatient, and day treatment) for those of age five and above who struggle with behavioral health and substance abuse disorders. There is a child and adolescent unit, adult mental health unit, adult substance abuse unit, adult rehabilitation unit, and a geriatric unit. The highly certified staff of counselors, therapists, physicians, and psychiatrists treat addiction recovery using a holistic approach. Group therapy, mediation, family sessions, individual therapy, and nutritional care are among the evidence-based therapy methods offered. Psychiatric care treats illnesses such as bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, and self harm, as well as many others.

Mental Health Disorders

The mental health disorders treated are anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, self-harm, and suicidal ideations. For those with a co-occuring disorder of substance abuse, detoxification is provided before the patient enters inpatient care. Experiential therapy and traditional therapeutic methods are used in treatment, with an emphasis on family involvement. Family visitations are offered seven days a week for adolescent and senior units, and 5 days a week for adult units. Family sessions are also offered throughout the week. Once inpatient treatment is completed, partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are offered for those looking for a continuation of care.

Substance Use Disorders

Based on methods from the 12 step program, alcohol and drug addiction are treated by a team of certified psychiatrists, therapists, mental health counselors, and physicians aiming to meet each patient’s physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs. The addictions that are treated at this facility include alcohol, benzodiazepines, cocaine, heroin, opioid, and prescription drugs. Seven Hills Hospital is the only provider who is licensed to treat opiate addiction in the state of Nevada. The program begins with a detoxification process including around the clock medical support and medication management.

Healthy Heroes Program

Seven Hills Hospital is Las Vegas’s preferred facility to treat mental health and substance use disorders for active-duty military and veterans. The speciality inpatient program specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depressions, post traumatic stress disorder, and dual diagnosis. The typical stay is within 30-90 days, offering individualized treatment through cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, 12 step programming, and many more therapy modalities.
