About Oxford Treatment Center

Oxford Treatment Center is an American Addiction Centers facility on over 100 acres and set amongst a beautiful forest and lake in Mississippi. Oxford has two locations; the residential campus is in Etta, while the outpatient and sober living facility is in Oxford, MS. Using a complete continuum of care, Oxford treats co-occurring mental health disorders and addiction for men and women. Oxford Treatment Center provides inpatient care, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient therapy, as well as sober living. They have an on-site medical detox unit with 24-hour nursing staff to keep clients safe and comfortable, using prescribed medications as needed to ease withdrawal and ready patients for further treatment.

A Variety of Treatment Approaches

Oxford Treatment Center’s range of care includes evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). A unique feature of Oxford’s program is year-round equine therapy. Clients can enjoy Oxford’s horses through petting and feeding, or by going on an instructor-led ride through their 100-acre property
Additional alternative therapies include art and music therapy, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Oxford Treatment Center’s location offers many recreational options, with a ropes course, labyrinth, and lake activities. Walking paths and their labyrinth give more opportunities for meditation and relaxation.

Specialized Programs

Oxford Treatment Center offers specialized programming for Veterans and first responders, those who have experienced sexual or domestic trauma, and LGBTQ+ clients. Oxford also provides specialized programming for married couples who come to treatment together.
Oxford Treatment Center offers secular SMART recovery for clients who don’t resonate with the 12-Step philosophy.

Oxford Treatment Center overlooks a private lake, offering clients the opportunity to fish and swim.
