About Recovery Ways

Situated in a quiet suburb of Salt Lake City, Recovery Ways serves as many people as possible by offering a full continuum of care starting with detox, residential treatment, outpatient services, and aftercare support. In addition, Recovery Ways has a specialized program for first responders and veterans that addresses the specific needs and challenges that these occupations face.

Recovery Ways has 3 addiction treatment centers throughout Murray, Utah. The Copper Hills location is dedicated to those seeking mental health treatment. Brisnwick and Chatham are dedicated to providing residential and outpatient treatment using a holistic approach. Based on an initial assessment, an individualized treatment plan is developed that caters to the unique needs of the individual. From occupational therapy to family therapy, Recovery Ways provide the tools needed for long-lasting sobriety. Treatment can include traditional talk therapy, sensory therapy, eye movement therapy (EMDR), relapse prevention, mind-body bridging, and 12-Step support groups or SMART recovery. Clients are also given regular journaling assignments to do as group homework in addition to exercise time at a local gym.

Each facility provides a safe and therapeutic space for clients to feel comfortable. Each home features clean interiors with modern decor and private or semi-private rooms. Recovery Ways also provides nutritious food, so clients can focus on recovery. Recreational therapy is an important part of the Recovery Ways process, and clients will have the opportunity to engage in therapeutic activities like a ropes course, bowling, rock climbing, pottery classes, and more.
