Healthy Life Recovery is an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that helps clients overcome addiction and co-occurring conditions using evidence-based therapies with a licensed professional. Healthy Life Recovery caters to the individual by offering specialized programs including an LGBTQ group track and a couples therapy program. They also provide a sober living home. The sober living home provides the support and structure needed while engaging in the outpatient program.
Healthy Life’s treatment plan includes setting achievable, short-term goals for patients that will build into lasting recovery. They use medication-assisted therapy (MAT) combined with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and exercise to achieve these goals. In addition to the regular regiment of therapy, Healthy Life Recovery offers an Active Recovery program. Activities are optional, but they recommend at least choosing one. Activities include physical fitness with a personal trainer, skateboarding, surfing, pilates, and yoga.
Sober living homes and outpatient services are located in San Diego California. The sober living facilities are equipped with live-in house managers. House managers enforce house rules, administer drug tests, and monitor the residents on a day-to-day basis. Joining a sober living home and participating in a 12-Step program creates a sense of community and camaraderie. Healthy Life Recovery is dedicated to supporting those who need addiction assistance at a beachside setting.
