About Harmony Place

Harmony Place treats addiction and mental health conditions in Southern California. They prioritize relapse prevention education, comprehensive care, and creating personalized treatment plans for each client. With a maximum of 24 clients at a time, treatment stays individualized and intimate. Harmony Place offers all levels of care, from detox, residential treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), to an intensive outpatient program (IOP). They use a tailored blend of evidence-based, holistic, and 12-Step treatments to help clients find long-lasting success.

Expert, Compassionate Staff

Harmony Place’s staff includes a board certified addiction medical doctor, a 24 hour wellness team including licensed nurses, and trauma informed licensed clinicians. Together, the care team customizes treatment to each client based on their diagnosis and personal goals. Clients have 3 individual therapy sessions each week, and an array of group therapy experiences throughout each day. Harmony Place offers evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), experiential therapies, and relapse prevention education.

Comprehensive And Personalized Treatment

Holistic experiences at Harmony Place include somatic therapy (which focuses on the mind-body connection), massage, yoga, psychodrama, personal training, and acupuncture. To offer comprehensive healing, Harmony Place treats addiction and concurrent mental health conditions. These include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, compulsive disorders, and trauma/PTSD.

Recover in Comfort

Clients at Harmony Place have semi-private rooms and private rooms. An outdoor pool and spacious group areas help clients heal in comfort, with space to work if needed. During detox, Harmony Place’s licensed nurses oversee and support the process 24/7, with medication-assisted treatments available. Harmony Place offers family therapy and psychoeducation to teach families more about the recovery process and how they can best support their loved one. Clients can also attend 12-Step meetings, Dharma recovery and other community support groups upon request. After residential treatment, clients can begin partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient programs, and attend weekly alumni events and our alumni meeting. Harmony Place also offers virtual aftercare, which connects alumni with private support groups.
