Crossroads, the largest substance abuse provider in Arizona, is a state licensed treatment provider with several locations near Phoenix offering detox, residential, and outpatient substance abuse treatment for men, women, and veterans varying by location.
Crossroads Pure Heart Campus is an intensive outpatient program (IOP) focused on relapse prevention, trauma, and wellness for adults with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Their holistic approach involves psychoeducation, peer support, and other evidence-based methods such as group behavioral therapy. Clients will participate in a 12 week minimum program that meets 4 days per week for 3 hours per day.
The foundational component of treatment at Pure Heart involves their group therapy that follows a seeking safety curriculum to address substance abuse and underlying trauma. Using seeking safety, clients are able to address their trauma without having to delve into deeply processing it. Group therapy also focuses on developing healthy coping mechanisms and life skills to prevent relapses.
The other main component of treatment is their wellness program, which involves engaging in exercise to heal and restrengthen the mind and body and help reduce cravings. Clients have supervised access to a state of the art gym where they will participate in guided and low impact exercise for 60 minutes per session. Supplementing traditional group therapy, patients will receive nutrition counseling and work toward stimulating healthy endorphins, managing stress, improving mood and sleep, and strengthening their overall health.
Personalized treatment plans are provided for each client to ensure their individual needs are met. Treatment will also include aftercare services and continuing care coordination with the Crossroads Aftercare Program. Crossroads accepts many insurance plans, and strides to provide high quality and affordable care for adults seeking treatment for substance abuse.
