About Sandstone Care Baltimore

Our Baltimore Center offers a fresh approach to the treatment of substance use and mental health issues.

Sandstone Care understands that everyone deals with treatment and recovery differently. Since there are no one size fits all solutions, we offer flexible program options such as day treatment and intensive outpatient services.

We believe that to be successful in your recovery, we must identify the proper treatment for you specifically. To develop an individualized treatment plan, we must go through a comprehensive assessment.

  • First, our friendly and helpful admissions team will assist you through a confidential consultation.
  • Then, we’ll help you verify your insurance.
  • Finally, we provide an initial assessment to see which level of care is right for you.

Imagine the feeling of not only recovering from addiction but reclaiming a healthy mentality and lifestyle as well. That is what we strive to achieve at Sandstone Care. We do this by using evidence-based treatment practices for both substance use and mental health disorders.

Our wide range of treatment approaches and evidence-based practices equip and empower teens, young adults, and their families with the tools they need to make positive changes in their lives. Treatments can include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment therapy
  • EMDR
  • Music and Art Therapy

In addition, our residential extended care programs offer young adults the opportunity to live in a therapeutic, recovery-focused setting while receiving comprehensive addiction and mental health treatment.

For young adults (18-30) whose current living situation is not conducive to recovery, we offer sober living homes. For clients under 18, the IOP is a longer-term, outpatient treatment option. This after-school program provides around 16 hours per week of heavy academic or vocational support, weekly family sessions, group therapy sessions, and weekly community activities.
